To the Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament assembled. The petition of certain citizens of Victoria respectfully showeth:

that all legitimate business expenses incurred in earning or producing assessable income should be allowable deductions;

that the Hawke Government's Fringe Benefits Tax is an unwarranted burden on the small business and rural sectors, which will severely affect their long-term viability.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the Government withdraws the Fringe Benefits Tax legislation without delay.
