The Honourable the President and members of the Senate in Parliament.

The Petition of the undersigned shows that because it will cause serious harm to the community, the Parliament will not legalise the possession sale, hire or supply of any publication or video tape, video disc, slide or any other recording from which a visual image can be produced, which displays degradation of any person, particularly women and children, or animals; scenes of explicit sexual relations; acts of violence and sex; sexual perversion; child pornography and explicit nudity.

Your Petitioners therefore humbly pray the Senate, in Parliament assembled that you will give this matter earnest consideration

And your petitioners as in duty bound will ever pray.
