Senator DURACK(6.16) —As I understand it, we are all agreed that the words should be left out.


Senator Gareth Evans —Let us dispose of that.


Senator DURACK —We can dispose of that and then we will have a clean sheet.


The CHAIRMAN —Yes, that would be a neat way of doing it. The question is:

That the words proposed to be left out, be left out.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

That the words proposed to be inserted by the Attorney-General's amendment, be inserted.
