Senator MESSNER
—by leave-During Senator Colston's remarks the point was made that the Opposition had been calling quorums on every speaker and that I was the only person who did not have quorums called while I was speaking. I would just like to point out that that is not so. Senator Grimes, Senator Haines and Senator Hamer did not have quorums called while they were speaking. In fact, the first person to call a quorum was the Government Whip who saw fit to do so when Senator Martin was speaking.
Senator Colston
—I seek leave to make a personal explanation.
Leave not granted.
