Senator HARRADINE —I give notice that, on the next day of sitting, I shall move:

That the Senate notes with concern that over the past two decades large families have been subjected to increasing pressures from indirect taxation, as well as from direct taxation, and that moves to downgrade the spouse rebate and family allowances are a further example of this iniquitous trend of placing an inordinate taxation burden on large families, particularly one-income families.
