Ms Butler asked the Minister for Justice, in writing, on 10 November 2016:

In respect of the announcement in July 2016 that an interim solution to enable police and courts to share information on domestic violence orders nationwide would be operational in late 2016, is it currently in operation; if not, when is it expected to be introduced.

Mr Keenan: The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows:

The Federal Government has delivered the technical capability to allow courts to access information about domestic violence court orders. State and territory police and court agencies are working through administrative arrangements to finalise access to the system.
