Dr Southcott
asked the Minister for Employment Participation, in writing, on 2 September 2008:
What is considered a satisfactory reason for transferring a job seeker to a new Job Network provider.
Mr Brendan O’Connor (Minister for Employment Participation)
—The answer to the honourable member’s question is as follows:
Under the current Job Network contract, there are three circumstances where a job seeker may be transferred to a new Job Network member:
- a change of address to a location not serviced by their JNM;
- a transfer between JNMs where the JNMs and the job seeker are in agreement; and
- a transfer due to an irretrievable breakdown between the job seeker and JNM.
