Ms MACKLIN (4:06 PM) —I have a couple of questions on the 2006 Census of Child Care Services. I am interested to know whether the census has been completed. I assume it has been completed, so I ask the minister if it could be released as soon as possible—assuming it has been completed. As a related issue, last night in the parliament the minister said that there is no shortage of child care for the zero to two age group. I wonder if the minister could confirm that that is the case and, if so, what his source for that information is. If the minister could release the childcare vacancies data for children under two years, that would be helpful.
