Mr BEAZLEY (2:43 PM)
—My question is to the Prime Minister. I refer to the introduction of the government’s extreme industrial relations legislation in the parliament today. Isn’t it the case that on page 203 of the legislation the government has deceitfully inserted a new provision that will allow employees to be forced onto an AWA without the protection of the no disadvantage test, putting penalty rates, shift allowances, overtime and leave loadings at risk of being lost without compensation?
Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister)
—I will analyse the allegation of the Leader of the Opposition, but there is no deceit in this legislation.
Honourable members interjecting—
The SPEAKER
—Order! I remind all members that there is a general warning. It applies to everyone.
