Mr Rudd asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs, in writing, on 23 June 2005:

(1) Were new accounting standards recently introduced at the High Commission in London; if so, when.

(2) How do the accounting standards used by the High Commission in London differ from the accounting standards employed throughout the Department.

Mr Downer (Minister for Foreign Affairs) —The answer to the honourable member’s question is as follows:

(1) No.

(2) They do not differ.
