Mr LATHAM (2:30 PM) —My question is to the Minister for Veterans' Affairs. I refer to her statement in the House yesterday. When the minister was sworn in to her current portfolio in October, did she inform the Prime Minister or Deputy Prime Minister of the conflict of interest of her staff member, Mr Ken Crooke, in the A2 milk matter, as she was obliged to do under the ministerial code of conduct? If not, how does the minister justify Mr Crooke's role on her staff, initially approving the A2 milk grant, and his directorship and financial interest in the Asia Pacific Corporation, a lobbyist for A2 milk?

Mrs DE-ANNE KELLY (Minister for Veterans' Affairs) —There is a statement that I have issued on this matter.
