Mr SAWFORD (3:31 PM)
—Mr Speaker, I ask to make a personal explanation.
The SPEAKER
—Does the member for Port Adelaide claim to have been misrepresented?
Mr SAWFORD
—I do, Mr Speaker.
The SPEAKER
—The member for Port Adelaide may proceed.
Mr SAWFORD
—The personal explanation of the member for Solomon with regard to me is untrue. The truth is his behaviour was contemptuous of the safety requirements of Qantas and the flight crew of QF 708 last Sunday evening from Adelaide to Canberra.
The SPEAKER
—The member for Port Adelaide will resume his seat. The member for Port Adelaide has just illustrated the very fact that causes all occupiers of the chair so many problems over a facility that should simply allow members to ensure that they are not misrepresented.
