—I think the member for Ballarat has a very short memory. If I were to exercise the standing orders, she would, in common with other people, find herself outside the chamber.
Mr BILLSON
—Sorry, Mr Speaker; I wish to make a personal explanation.

—Does the honourable member claim to have been misrepresented?
Mr BILLSON
—Yes, repeatedly.

—Please proceed.
Mr BILLSON
—Yesterday in the Victorian Legislative Council, the ALP member for Chelsea province, Bob Smith, remarked on the Frankston Business Chamber's `no tolls on Scoresby' campaign and said:
... the man responsible for coordinating this campaign for the Frankston Business Chamber is a Mr Scott Rankin. Now—shock, horror!—Mr Scott Rankin is not only a failed candidate at the last state election but also happens to be the brother-in-law of the federal member for Dunkley, Mr Bruce Billson.
I have no relation whatsoever with Mr Scott Rankin. This remark is patently untrue and I seek that it be corrected.
