To the Honourable the Speaker and the Members of the House of Representatives assembled in Parliament
The petition of certain Omeo and district region residents draws to the attention of the House:
The anomalies of the broadcast licence area plan that prevents the residents of the Omeo & district region from receiving the local 3TR FM & 3GV radio signal, that can be received in other areas of the East Gippsland shire.
Your petitioners therefore ask the House to amend the licence area plan, so as the Omeo & district region is included into the Gippsland licence area plan to enable the residents to receive local news & programs that are available to other areas of the East Gippsland shire.
