Mr KELVIN THOMSON (10:33 AM) —I move:

That so much of standing and sessional orders be suspended as would prevent the member for Wills from moving that this House condemns the Howard government for allowing political interference by the member for Dawson to diminish protection of Repulse Bay in the Great Barrier Reef.

The DEPUTY SPEAKER (Mr Jenkins)—As the House has just dealt with a suspension of standing and sessional orders for the purposes of the introduction and passage of a bill, the chair is in the difficulty of then ruling to allow a further suspension motion to carry out further business. I therefore believe that such a motion would not be in order.
