Mr CREAN (2:01 PM) —My question is to the Prime Minister. I ask if the Prime Minister recalls on our recent visit to Bali meeting two children aged four and eight, as I also did, and having his photo taken with them. Is the Prime Minister aware that the mother of these children was killed in the Bali bombings and that their father is currently detained in Australia's Baxter detention centre? Will the Prime Minister, in a special act of compassion, now allow these children to come to Australia and visit their father at the Baxter detention centre?

Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister) —This is a matter that has been raised before. In the light of the Leader of the Opposition raising the matter I will discuss it again with the relevant minister and, if there are circumstances that—
