Mr CREAN (Leader of the Opposition) (2:07 PM) —Mr Speaker, on indulgence, could I acknowledge the presence in the gallery today of Jason McCartney. I think everyone understands the great courage that Jason demonstrated only a couple of weeks ago in relation to a return football game. A victim of that tragic bombing in Bali, he is in the building today and he has been talking not only with us on our side of the parliament about what can be done in relation to the victims of the Bali bombing and their ongoing needs but also with the government. We acknowledge his presence, we salute his courage and we look forward to working with him and his colleagues in developing the positive, needed response for the victims of this tragic bombing and their families.

Honourable members—Hear, hear!

The SPEAKER —I will, of course, extend similar indulgence to the Prime Minister.
