Mr Latham
asked the Minister for Foreign Affairs, upon notice, on 13 May 2003:
(1) When did the United States of America rejoin UNESCO.
(2) What percentage of UNESCO's budget is the USA assessed to contribute.

—The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows :
(1) The United States of America is expected to join UNESCO by no later than 1 October 2003.
(2) The United States of America will be assessed at 22% of UNESCO's budget.
