—Before I call on the MPI, I point out to members who may be concerned that—and this relates to a matter raised in question time—had the MPI been directed in the way in which it were framed to a specific individual, it would have been out of order. It is not out of order in the way in which it is framed, being directed to a group. I have received a letter from the honourable member for Lilley proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely:
The double standards of the Government in protecting the interests of their wealthy mates while Australian families struggle.
I call upon those members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
