Mr CREAN (2:37 PM) —My question is to the Prime Minister and it relates to a front page report in today's Sydney Morning Herald, in which is it alleged:

The Central Intelligence Agency issued an intelligence report listing Bali among possible targets of a pending terrorist attack just two weeks before the weekend's devastating Kuta bomb blast ...

I ask the Prime Minister: can you confirm that the government received the intelligence report referred to in this article and, if so, when?

Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister) —The answer that I gave to a question from the member for Petrie was relevant to the question asked by the Leader of the Opposition. I do not know that there is a great deal that I can add. The Leader of the Opposition will know that under the intelligence arrangement we have with the United States we do share intelligence—there has been no breakdown of that arrangement. If the Leader of the Opposition analyses my answer, he will see that the question he asked has been dealt with.
