The SPEAKER (10:03 AM)
—There have been some changes implemented to the Notice Paper for this parliament. The Notice Paper for the next sitting day is available in electronic form on the House of Representatives web site within two hours of House rise on the previous sitting day. Members are encouraged to access the Notice Paper on the web site. A hard copy of the Notice Paper will not be delivered to each member's office. A stock of hard copies of the Notice Paper, which will now be produced on A4 paper instead of B5, will be available to members in the chamber and from the Table Office.
The Notice Paper issued at the start of a sitting fortnight will list all outstanding questions on notice. Previously, all outstanding questions were listed at the start of each week. Each Notice Paper for the remainder of the sitting fortnight will list only the new questions on notice for that day. Previously, each subsequent day listed all new questions for the week. As a new service, a document with a full listing of all outstanding questions on notice is available on the web site. These changes will result in significant savings to the Department of the House of Representatives.
