Mr SPEAKER —I call the member for Prospect.

Mrs Crosio —I am sorry to do that to you, Mr Speaker, but I seek the call because I did not wish to do it during the debate that has just occurred. During an interjection at 9.55 this morning, when I made a remark that the Leader of the House was directing the Speaker, the member for Sturt said, `Janice, you have been hanging around with the League of Rights for too long.' Under standing order 78, I want that completely withdrawn. I do not like my name even mentioned with that fascist group, and I think it should be withdrawn in the House.

Mr SPEAKER —The member for Prospect has indicated where she has been misrepresented. I think it is entirely reasonable for the member for Prospect to be indignant about that association. I ask the member for Sturt to withdraw it.

Mr Pyne —The comment, `You have been hanging around with the League of Rights too long,' was designed to make a commentary on her paranoia about the use of the microphones. But I withdraw that statement.

Mr SPEAKER —The member for Sturt will withdraw that statement without qualification and resume his seat.

Mr Pyne —I withdraw the statement, Mr Speaker.
