Mr Latham
asked the Minister for Health and Aged Care, upon notice, on 12 October 2000:

(2) Does this statement reflect Government policy; if so, what type of opt-out arrangements is the Government planning to introduce for the Medicare system.
(3) Has the Government considered exempting private insurance holders fromthe Medicare levy; if so, what are the details.
Dr Wooldridge (Minister for Health and Aged Care)
