Mr Leo McLeay
asked the Minister representing the Special Minister of State, upon notice, on 31 August 2000:
Does his Department keep a central record of all property utilised by Ministers, Members and Senators.
Mr Fahey (Minister for Finance and Administration)
—The Special Minister of State has provided the following answer to the honourable member's question:
The Department of Finance and Administration does not keep a central record of all property utilised by Ministers, Members and Senators. The Ministerial and Parliamentary Services Group of the Department holds details of the electorate offices and Ministerial 0ffice holder accommodation which it provides. No record is kept of any accommodation which may be provided to Ministers by their own Department or of electorate offices which are privately funded by Senators and Members.
