Mr BEAZLEY
—I refer the Prime Minister to his statement that `the people that are on the rich list can pay the GST and the ordinary taxpayer is not going to subsidise it'. Why then, Prime Minister,
won't you support amendments that remove the special GST rebate for casino high rollers?
Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister)
—As to the rebate, there is none. The GST is payable on the margin. Understand the legislation.
