Mr WILTON
—My family and I were privileged to attend a production by a fine Christian school—St Josephs Primary in Chelsea—of its fantastic gold rush musical `Grab that Gold'. Over 130 students from grades 5 and 6 participated in what could only be described as a beautifully costumed and choreographed extravaganza. Every performer presented their lines perfectly and the dancing was indeed superb. My family thoroughly enjoyed the occasion, as did the entire audience which packed the St Josephs school hall.
Principal Christine Ash, her teaching staff, particularly the director, Mary Lucas, and all the parents who sewed costumes, painted sets and sold tickets are to be congratulated for their efforts. That so many people could be so genuinely entertained and that all the children gained immeasurably in self-confidence, made this production a highly successful one and a tribute to the entire St Josephs school community.
