Mr CREAN
—My question is to the Prime Minister and it follows from his earlier answer. Is the Prime Minister aware that the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Industry, Science and Resources purchased the leasehold of two large investment properties near Cairns in June of last year? Is he aware that those properties are located close to the controversial Natwest-East Trinity development proposal? Is he aware that those properties will substantially increase in value if the East Trinity development goes ahead, particularly with the construction of a bridge from Cairns to the development site? Is he aware that the parliamentary secretary has been a leading public advocate of the East Trinity development? Prime Minister, isn't that conflict of interest—perceived, potential and actual?
Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister)
—I will analyse the question.
