How many sworn Australian Federal Police officers served in Western Australia in each (a) calender and (b) financial year since 1993.

—The Minister for Justice and Customs has provided the following answer to the honourable member's question:
The following chart identifies the number of Australian Federal Police personnel in Western Australia at the start of each calendar year and the end of each financial year. Sworn and unsworn personnel are accounted for in this table as both are involved in operational teams and reflect the operational capacity of the AFP.
