To the Honourable the Speaker and Members of the House of Representatives assembled in Parliament.

This petition of certain residents of the State of Queensland calls on the House to advise the Federal Transport Minister to—

not endorse any existing or future Masterplans for the Brisbane Airport which recommend a western parallel runway;

provide a further opportunity for public consultation on new information contained in any existing or future Masterplans; and

review current practices and initiate new measures to reduce noise levels and other forms of environmental pollution arising from aircraft using the existing runway.

And your petitioners, as in duty bound, will forever pray.
