Mr CREAN
—My question is to the Prime Minister. It flows from an answer you gave earlier, Prime Minister, in which you quoted only from paragraph 1 of today's Pan Australian document to the Stock Exchange. Doesn't paragraph 3 of the letter confirm that, whilst the transfer was registered in May 1996, the other 318,000 shares in QCMM (ESP) continued to remain with that company, uninterrupted? According to paragraph 5 of the letter, as of today's date that transfer has not been lodged. Prime Minister, I ask again: why have you excluded this information from your answers in your pathetic defence of Senator Parer?
Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister)
—The comment that I made yesterday related to a question you asked me about QCMM (ESP), and everything I said about it was right.
