Mr O'CONNOR —My question is to the Minister for Industry, Science and Tourism. Minister, in March last year after axing support for clothing outworkers you promised through your department, `The government shortly expects to announce the new program delivery arrangements for outworkers.' Minister, with 20 months gone and nothing yet delivered, could you explain your definition of `shortly'? How long will Australia's outworkers have to wait before they see any results?

Mr MOORE —The member for Corio, being the principal pencil writer for the former industry minister Mr Button, should not be commenting too much about the record of the Labor Party. You know that for 13 years you did nothing at all about outsourcing problems within the industry—not a thing.

Mr Crean —You cancelled the program, you dill.

Mr SPEAKER —I warn the member for Hotham!

Mr MOORE —The government's TCF response quite clearly set out what we proposed to do.
