upon which Mr O'Keefe moved by way of amendment:

That all words after "That" be omitted with a view to substituting the following words:

`, noting the representations of a wide number of graingrowers and, in particular the West Australian Graingrowers' Association and the Australian Grain Industry Taskforce, the House declines to give the bill a second reading pending consideration of the report on the measure by the Senate Rural and Regional Affairs and Transport Legislation Committee, which is due to be presented by 23 October 1997'
