Mr MILES (Parliamentary Secretary [Cabinet] to the Prime Minister)(5.42 p.m.)
—I move:
That the bill be now read a second time.
This bill amends the Termination Payments Tax Imposition Act 1997 to round the rate of termination payments surcharge imposed under that act to five decimal places.
Financial implications
This bill is estimated to have negligible financial impact. I commend the bill to the House and present the explanatory memorandum.
Debate (on motion by Mr Martin Ferguson) adjourned.
