Mr FITZGIBBON
—Mr Speaker, following question time on 4 December last year, I asked you whether you would be prepared to consider restoring to this chamber audio from the Senate in order to allow members of this House to listen to proceedings in the Senate during question time. You indicated to me that you would consider the issue and report back. I respectfully remind you that you have not done so and I ask you to do so again now.
Mr SPEAKER
—I thank the honourable member for Hunter very much for raising this query again. I know that the Senate debates can frequently be riveting. With the encouragement of the honourable member for Hunter, I will continue to make inquiries and report back at the earliest opportunity.
