Mr HOWARD (Prime Minister) —Mr Speaker, the Leader of the Opposition had not mentioned this to me privately when we were coming back from Melbourne. But, lest it be thought that the government was in any way churlish or insensitive, if he would like to do that, I have absolutely no difficulty with that at all. Although I do think it fair to observe that, as I indicated to him, we are going to move a motion, it might help these things if we know in advance. I would be the last person to deny respect in relation to any section of the Australian community that feels particularly aggrieved about something.
