Mr Laurie Ferguson asked the Minister for Industrial Relations, upon notice, on 10 December 1996:

What sum has the Minister's Department spent on the purchase of paper products since 1 April 1996, and what proportion of those purchases was Australian made.


Mr Reith —The answer to the honourable member's question is as follows:

The Department of Industrial Relations has spent $48 746.24 on paper products since 1 April 1996. More than 97 per cent of the paper products purchased were Australian made.
