Mr TUCKEY —Mr Acting Speaker, on the same subject—and I refer you to those points of order that were raised today—is it not a fact that the standing orders refer to the rights of members, not political parties, when it comes to receiving the call to ask a question? If so, could you, Mr Acting Speaker, request the Speaker to implement the policy practice by Speaker Snedden in which a graph of members' questions was maintained and a copy was available to members in the reception area of the Speaker's office? Further, when more than one member stood seeking the Speaker's attention, the Speaker would allocate the call to the member who had asked the least number of questions.

Mr ACTING SPEAKER —I thank the honourable member for his question. As for some sort of graph being publicly displayed, I would not be sanguine about the outcome, but I will give it some consideration.
