—Mr Speaker has received a letter from the honourable member for Holt (Mr Gareth Evans) proposing that a definite matter of public importance be submitted to the House for discussion, namely:
The failure of the government in its budget strategy to give priority to the reduction of unemployment and support to the unemployed.
I call upon those members who approve of the proposed discussion to rise in their places.
