Mr MARTIN(4.46 p.m.) —Mr Speaker, I wish to make a personal explanation.

Mr SPEAKER —Does the member claim to have been misrepresented?

Mr MARTIN —Yes, Mr Speaker.

Mr SPEAKER —Proceed, without debate.

Mr McGauran interjecting

Mr MARTIN —Don't start me again on you.

Mr SPEAKER —Order! There will be no debate.

Mr MARTIN —The Minister for Veterans' Affairs (Mr Bruce Scott) earlier today said that I had not raised the issue of the potential effect of the New South Wales government's announcements on health policy on Concord hospital. For his benefit, in fact, today on Radio 2UE I did raise those concerns. Further, I have also made contact with the office of the New South Wales Minister for Health about that seeking information. Also—and he probably has not got it yet—I have written to him asking for his views on this particular matter so we might take an approach that is satisfactory to everyone.
