To the Honourable Speaker and members of the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled. The humble petition of the undersigned citizens of Australia respectfully showeth that:

whereby Pony Clubs come within the definition of non profit company for income tax purposes, and would be liable to tax on that amount of taxable income (excluding member income) which exceeds $416.

. . . Income Tax (Companies, Prescribed Unit Trusts and Superannuation Funds) Act 1985.

Your petitioners humbly pray that the House of Representatives in Parliament assembled, urge the Government to abolish this tax as it is an unwarranted burden on small community based activities which contribute to the well-being of general society.
