Mr BUNGEY —I refer the Minister for Primary Industry to the recommendations of the Review of Commonwealth Functions concerning the sale of the Australian Wool Testing Authority and some parts of the Australian wool stores. I ask: Since these assets were purchased, developed and operated with wool growers' funds without recourse to Government finance, can the Minister advise where the sale proceeds are to be allocated?

Mr NIXON —The honourable member quite rightly draws attention to the fact that the Australian Wool Testing Authority and the wool stores are owned by the wool industry through the Australian Wool Corporation. Following any successful sale of either the wool stores or the Wool Testing Authority, any funds accruing will go, of course, to the Corporation and thus to the industry.
