The SPEAKER (17:03): I present the House Standing Committee on Appropriations and Administration's report No. 2, Annual Report 2010-11. In doing so, I am recommending it to members. I place on record that this committee is a very important step in the life of the House. It gives for the first time a formal and representative body of members, led by the Speaker, the opportunity to look at the funding needs of the Department of the House of Representatives on a regular basis and then make representations if they think it is necessary.
In accordance with standing order 39(f) the report was made a parliamentary paper.
