MARRIAGE EQUALITY TAKES ANOTHER STEP
Senator Carol Brown, Labor Senator for Tasmania today welcomed news that France had become the latest country to pass laws allowing same sex marriage.
Senator Carol Brown said with the passage of the Bill through the French Senate, the Country would be the latest to end discrimination against same sex couples.
“This is another historic vote and further proof that the world is moving towards ending discrimination and providing marriage equality.
“I look forward to continuing to fight for marriage equality in Tasmania and Australia.
“I hope that in the near future Australia will be added to the list of countries that have ended discrimination against same sex couples,” Senator Carol Brown said.
