1.   Is it a fact that local carpenters and other tradesmen, who have been employed at Canberra for many months, with first class records, have been discharged, and their places filled by men brought fresh from Victoria?

2.   Is it a fact that unsatisfactory preference of this kind is rife at Canberra?

3.   Is it a fact that much dissatisfaction exists as regards the resumption of land at Canberra, and that landholders are being forced to the High Court to defend their rights?
