Mr SPEAKER - I have to inform the House that I attended this afternoon in the Senate chamber, where His Excellency the Governor-General was pleased to deliver his opening Speech, of which, for greater accuracy, I have obtained a copy; but following the usual procedure, unless honorable members desire it, I do not propose to read it. (For text of Speech, vide page 7.)
