Senator PARER (Resources and Energy) (2:56 PM)
—I will respond to both comments. I would just like to reiterate that the previous funding went to the marketing of the logo, not to the administration of the foundation. As Senator Neal quite correctly pointed out, the foundation itself went into liquidation.
As it now stands, anyone interested in the logo should apply to the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At this stage they cannot get the logo. They will have to wait until the arrangements have been sorted out with the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Senator Hogg, you asked a question as to whether there is a licence fee. I have asked my adviser that question and have been told that we will have to check that. My understanding is that the foundation got its funding from some sort of a percentage of the sales of the logo.
