Senator Walsh asked the Minister representing the Treasurer, upon notice, on 20 August 1981:

(1) Was Mr R. Baudino, an employee of the Liberal Party, permitted to attend the Budget lock-up held in the Senate Committee Rooms on 18 August 1981; if so, what organisation did he represent and who approved his attendance.

(2) Which media organisations, industry and other associations and individuals were admitted to the lock-up.

(3) What are the criteria for admittance to the lock-up and what person or persons were responsible for enforcing them.
